MI - RICORDO
MI-RICORDO (Rehabilitation Intervention of COgnitive Resources Domain-Oriented) is a project established to adapt and cross-nationally validate the innovative cognitive rehabilitation pathway of people with acquired cognitive disabilities (e.g., brain injury) or at risk of developing them (e.g., early-stage neurodegenerative diseases) based on the digital RICORDO-DTx solution.
MI RICORDO aims to adapt and transfer this innovative solution to three national contexts-Italy, Portugal, and France. Adaptation is not only about technology, but also about tailoring rehabilitation content to the cultural, social and organizational specificities of different countries.
Validation and Clinical Studies
To ensure the effectiveness and feasibility of the model, the project includes:
- Feasibility studies in Portugal and France, in different care settings (hospitals, nursing homes, home care).
- A randomized clinical trial in Italy to evaluate the effectiveness of the solution.
Toward a Sustainable Telemedicine Model.
A further goal of the project is to define a multidimensional model based on the MAST (Model for Assessment of Telemedicine) framework to validate and adapt telemedicine solutions in different countries, considering aspects of safety, clinical effectiveness, economic sustainability, acceptability and ethical-legal aspects.
