Adaptation is not only about technology, but also about tailoring rehabilitation content to the cultural, social and organizational specificities of different countries.<\/p><h3><strong>Validation and Clinical Studies<\/strong><\/h3><p>To ensure the effectiveness and feasibility of the model, the project includes:<\/p><ul><li><strong>Feasibility studies<\/strong> in Portugal and France, in different care settings (hospitals, nursing homes, home care).<\/li><li><strong>A randomized clinical trial in Italy<\/strong> to evaluate the effectiveness of the solution.<\/li><\/ul><h3><strong>Toward a Sustainable Telemedicine Model.<\/strong><\/h3><p>A further goal of the project is to define a <strong>multidimensional model<\/strong> based on the <strong>MAST (Model for Assessment of Telemedicine)<\/strong> framework to validate and adapt telemedicine solutions in different countries, considering aspects of safety, clinical effectiveness, economic sustainability, acceptability and ethical-legal aspects.<\/p><h3><strong>Partners<\/strong><\/h3><p>In addition to Astir, the project is being carried out by:<\/p><ul><li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.liuc.it\/\"><strong>Carlo Cattaneo University &#8211; LIUC<\/strong><\/a> (Healthcare Datascience LAB &#8211; Castellanza)<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dongnocchi.it\/\"><strong>IRCCS Fondazione Don Carlo Gnocchi ONLUS<\/strong><\/a> (Center of Advanced Diagnostics, Therapy, and Rehabilitation &#8211; Milan)<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mundiseventos.pt\/\"><strong>MUNDIS<\/strong><\/a> &#8211; Associa\u00e7\u00e3o C\u00edvica de Forma\u00e7\u00e3o e Cultura (Vila Real)<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/univ-cotedazur.fr\/\"><strong>Universit\u00e9 C\u00f4te d&#8217;Azur<\/strong><\/a> (CoBTeK lab &#8211; Cognition Behavior Technology &#8211; Nice)<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.chu-nice.fr\/\"><strong>Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Nice<\/strong><\/a> &#8211; (Recherche Clinique et Innovation &#8211; Nice)<\/li><\/ul><p>MI-RICORDO will be implemented thanks to co-funding obtained by Astir through Call 2023 &#8211; Healthcare of the future of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thcspartnership.eu\/\">European Partnership on Transforming Health and Care Systems (THCS)<\/a>.<\/p><p>The project started in September 2024 and has an expected duration of <b>36 months<\/b>.<\/p><p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-7275\" src=\"https:\/\/www.astir.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Loghi-MIRICORDO-300x39.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"51\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.astir.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Loghi-MIRICORDO-300x39.png 300w, https:\/\/www.astir.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Loghi-MIRICORDO-768x99.png 768w, https:\/\/www.astir.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Loghi-MIRICORDO.png 1003w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MI &#8211; RICORDO MI-RICORDO (Rehabilitation Intervention of COgnitive Resources Domain-Oriented) is a project established to adapt and cross-nationally validate the innovative cognitive rehabilitation pathway of people with acquired cognitive disabilities (e.g., brain injury) or at risk of developing them (e.g., early-stage neurodegenerative diseases) based on the digital RICORDO-DTx solution.
